About the book
When Princess Minnifitty is sent to live with her Great Aunt after her parents’ unfortunate encounter with a blind-as-a-bat dragon, her entire world is turned upside down.
Feeling abandoned and invisible, Minnifitty gets cranky and stays cranky. And she takes it out on everyone, especially those rotten neighborhood kids.
But when the unexpected happens and Minnifitty has to depend on the very people she has behaved the absolute worst to, will they help her… Or has she taken her crankiness too far?

Minnifitty and The Rotten Kids, a story about second chances, seeing past rough edges, and how friendship sometimes arrives uninvited.
A Glimpse Inside
Minnifitty had never met her great-aunt before, so she had no
idea what to expect. What she got was a small, sweaty, woman
in a plaid suit who met her at the drawbridge of her great-aunt’s
castle.
Shaking Minnifitty’s hand, the woman told her, “I am your
great-aunt’s attorney. My name is Miss Dobbs. If you are going to
stay here, your aunt has some rules for you.” Reaching into her
satchel, she took out a scroll and unrolled it. After a stern look at
Minnifitty, she began to read.
"Rule number one. You are never, ever to bother your great-
aunt. Rule number two. You are only to associate with other royal
kids. And rule number three. You are never, ever to hang out with
any of those rotten kids you see running around the neighbor-
hood.”
Then Miss Dobbs rolled up the scroll and put it back in her
satchel. She gave Minnifitty another stern look. “Your aunt has eyes
throughout the kingdom and will not tolerate rule-breaking. Any
questions?”
When Minnifitty shook her head no, Miss Dobbs went on, “Good.
Well, that’s it, then. Go on in.”
And that was the last Minnifitty ever saw of Miss Dobbs.
