About the book

When Princess Minnifitty is sent to live with her Great Aunt after her parents’ unfortunate encounter with a blind-as-a-bat dragon, her entire world is turned upside down.

Feeling abandoned and invisible, Minnifitty gets cranky and stays cranky. And she takes it out on everyone, especially those rotten neighborhood kids.

But when the unexpected happens and Minnifitty has to depend on the very people she has behaved the absolute worst to, will they help her… Or has she taken her crankiness too far?

Minnifitty and The Rotten Kids, a story about second chances, seeing past rough edges, and how friendship sometimes arrives uninvited.

A Glimpse Inside

A Glimpse Inside

For a very long time, several years at least, Princess Minnifitty had
been cranky. She hadn’t always been that way. Once upon a time,
Minnifitty had hardly been cranky at all. But that was before her
ninth birthday and the events that followed it. That was the day
her parents, the king and queen, had gone out to pick up some
last-minute presents for her party and never returned. Afterward,
people told Minnifitty it was a matter of them being in the wrong
place at the wrong time. That never made her feel any better

about it, though.

The wrong place for Minnifitty’s parents had been Ye Olde Market

Mall. The wrong time was when a near-sighted, fire-breathing

dragon flew in. He was there to pick up a fresh sheep for dinner,

but wasn’t wearing his glasses. As luck would have it, just as he
was landing, something shone in his eyes, and he panicked. It was
only the sun reflecting off a magic mirror display. But the dragon
thought a knight in shining armor had come to slay him.
